Frequently Asked Questions
What is the holding period for a 2-Year Property Visa if you have sold your property and are planning to buy a new one?
There is an expected 30 day holding period when purchasing a property that qualifies for the Investor Visa. If you already hold an Investor Visa and intend to sell your current property, you must first cancel your existing visa.
This cancellation process typically takes 48–72 hours.
After the cancellation is complete, you can consult with Prosper’s property specialists to identify qualifying properties worth AED 750,000 and mortgage them with the lowest interest rates in the market.
Once the purchase is finalized, you can apply for a new Investor Visa, which will also require a police verification certificate.
The standard processing time for the visa is approximately 7–10 working days.
