How to cancel my 5-Year Retirement Visa?

• Access the Portal: Head to the official DLD Cube website or open the Dubai REST app.
• Navigate to Services: Hover over the ‘5 Years Retirees Residency’ section and click on ‘Cancellation of 5 Years Visa’.
• UAE Pass Authentication: Instead of filling out your name, passport number, and address manually, you will be prompted to Log in with UAE Pass. This instantly retrieves your verified identity and linked property data.
• Confirm Status: Select whether you are currently Inside or Outside the UAE.

Note: If you are outside the UAE, you no longer need a physical Power of Attorney (POA) for digital cancellation as long as you can authenticate via UAE Pass.

• Manage Dependents: You must choose to Cancel or Hold the visas of any family members or domestic staff under your sponsorship.

• Verify Automatic Data: Review the retrieved data (Full Name, Nationality, Passport Expiry, etc.). You only need to manually update your WhatsApp number and your intended forwarding address or reason for cancellation.

• Upload Documents (Digital Scans):

  • Title Deed: Clear color scan (to unlink the asset).
  • Passport Bio Page: High-resolution scan (valid for at least 6 months).
  • Digital Visa Copy: From your UAE Pass or GDRFA dashboard.

• Payment: Pay the cancellation fee of AED 190.75 using a local/international credit card or Apple/Google Pay.

• Submission: Submit the request. Approval is typically granted within 48–72 hours.
