How Do tenants Create a New Ejari on Dubai REST?

You can create and register your Ejari as a tenant by opening the Dubai REST app and heading to ‘Property Services’ and ‘Register Ejari Contract’

• Choose how to search the property using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Municipality Number

• Enter the Municipality Number
• Enter the Municipality Sub Number
• Select the Property Type (Unit or Villa)
• Enter the Unit Number
• Enter the Building Name

Option 2: Land Number

• Enter the Land Number
• Enter the Land Sub Number
• Enter the Area
• Select the Property Type
• Enter the Unit Number
• Enter the Building Name

Option 3: Title Deed

• Enter the Certificate Number
• Enter the Certificate Year
• Select the Property Type
• Once property data is entered, verify your mobile number or email via a code.
• Your details will be registered and verified within the app.

Then proceed with entering your contract information: (tenancy contract)

• Contract Start Date

• Contract End Date

• Contract Amount

• Security Deposit

• Grace Period (if any)

• Tap Calculate Total.

• Fill in your commercial details if required.

• Upload your signed rental contract (PDF, max 2MB).

• Click Save and Next.

• If available, upload your previous Ejari move-out contract.

• Review all info, agree to the terms and conditions, and click Submit.

• You’ll receive a reference number for tracking.

The landlord will get a link to approve the Ejari. Once approved, proceed with payment. You will receive your Ejari certificate by email.

Upload your Ejari and Tenancy contract on Prosper to gain access to your tenant dashboard which gives you an overview of your rental, 5 year historical insights, recent transactions, average rental in your area, your tenancy details such as your cleared payments, pending payments and secure storage for your cheques alongside prompt alerts on deadlines and urgent reminders.
