How do I get an Equity Release mortgage with Prosper?

Equity Release lets you unlock a 70% loan against your property. The steps are the same whether you are a resident or a non-resident.

• Login to Prosper with your email and phone number and verify using OTPs.
• Go to Mortgages < Equity Release and click ‘Get Started’.
• Verify your Passport and Emirates ID and then head over to mortgages < equity release again.
• Under what you are looking for, select ‘Equity release’.
• When the app asks whether you currently have a mortgage on the property, choose either ‘Yes, I’m still paying it off’ or ‘No, I own the property outright’.
• Choose whether you own a villa, apartment or other property.
• Enter the estimated current market value of your property.
• When asked if you hold a UAE passport, answer “Yes” or “No”.
• Under your residency status, choose either “I’m an expat living in the UAE” or “I do not live in the UAE”, then click “Next”.
• Once you submit, you’ll see a confirmation, and a mortgage advisor from our partner agency, My Mortgage, will contact you shortly.
