Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Golden Visa status for dependents if the primary holder is deceased?
In the event that the primary holder of the Golden Visa is deceased, his/her family can continue to live on the visa for the remainder of the tenure.
If the investor visa is not a Golden Visa, dependents on a spouse's or parent's visa may face visa cancellation upon the sponsor's death. Dependents may be granted a grace period (generally 30 days) to leave the country after the visa cancellation. The length of this period can vary.
