Frequently Asked Questions

Can non-family members jointly apply for the Dubai Golden Visa?

Yes, non-family members can jointly own property and apply for the Golden Visa, but with stricter individual requirements than married couples. To qualify, each person’s individual share in the property (or portfolio of properties) must be valued at AED 2 million or more. Non-family co-owners cannot pool their funds to meet a single AED 2 million threshold; they must each meet the requirement independently to be eligible for their own 10-year residency.

You can upload your Title Deed or Oqood (Pre-title deed) on Prosper and the smart property platform will automatically update you if you’re eligible for the Golden Visa or not.

You can also consult with your Prosper dedicated Relationship Manager if you need help navigating the application process.
