Frequently Asked Questions

Is my home country will valid for my UAE assets?

A will registered in your home country is generally not automatically enforceable in the UAE. To use it for UAE assets, your heirs would need to have it legalised, translated into Arabic, and presented to a UAE court — a process that can take many months and is not guaranteed. It is highly recommended to register a separate UAE will specifically for your UAE-based assets.
