Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for a mortgage with Prosper as a non-resident of UAE?
The steps are the same as for residents, except the journey ends with your residency status. To apply:
- Login to Prosper with your email and phone number and verify using OTPs.
- Head over to the mortgages section. Select ‘non-resident’ mortgage and submit your passport and Emirates ID for verification.
- After verification, choose a new mortgage and after clicking next, outline whether you’re browsing the market, started looking around or have found your dream home.
- Select the type of property you’re in the market for and click “Next”.
- Select whether you’re looking for a ready to move in property or an off plan/under construction once.
- Enter the property price and click ‘Next’
- Select whether you hold a UAE passport and if you’re an expat living in the UAE or not.
- Proceed to enter your date of birth and choose your country under “What passport do you hold?”
- On the final question, which asks for your residency status, select that you are not living in the UAE.
- Once you submit, you’ll see a confirmation, and a mortgage advisor from our partner agency, My Mortgage, will contact you shortly.
