If I am being evicted, do I still have to pay rent during the legal proceedings?

Yes. Under Article 31 of Law No. 26 of 2007, filing or pursuing an eviction claim does not exempt the tenant from paying rent for the entire period during which the claim is being considered — right up until the award is rendered and executed.
