How Can I Generate a Rental Index Report Using Dubai REST?
Both property owners and tenants can generate a Rental index Report in the following manner:
- Open the Dubai REST app and click on ‘Rental Index.’
- Select your Rental Index type from industrial, commercial, residential and staff accommodation.
- Proceed to enter your contract date and property type.
- You can then generate your Rental Index report from the following options:
Option 1: Search index by Area
- Search By: Select Area
- Fill in:
- Area Name (This is the area mentioned under community in your Title Deed)
- Building Name
- Room Type (e.g., 1 Bed, 2 Bed)
- Current Annual Rent
- Tap “Calculate.”
- You’ll see:
- Whether a rent increase is permitted
- The exact percentage if applicable
Option 2: Search index by Ejari
- Choose Ejari Contract Number. (This is mentioned in the top left corner highlighted in red in your Ejari)
- Enter:
- Contract End Date
- Property Type
- Ejari Contract Number
- Current Annual Rent
- Tap Calculate to see your results.
Option 3: Search index by DEWA Premise Number
- Choose DEWA Premise Number.
- Enter:
- DEWA Number
- Current Annual Rent
- Tap Calculate for rental guidance.
Remember, you can procure information such as your contract start-end dates, DEWA number, current annual rent from your Tenancy Contract. Prosper uses your Rental Index results to recommend renewal pricing and pre-fill your tenancy contract for seamless, compliant lease planning as per market norms.
When the time comes, you’ll receive the revised contract along with the official RERA format — keeping you informed and in control.
