Frequently Asked Questions
How do tenancy renewals work on Prosper?
For tenancy renewals:
- 100 days before the expiry of your contract, Prosper generates a renewal contract and sends it to the landlord along with a RERA rental index document if there’s a potential rent increase.
- The landlord reviews the renewal and sends it to you.
- You must accept or reject the renewal at least one month before the contract expires.
- Once accepted, a new tenancy contract will be generated and signed by both parties. Ejari can be registered once the current one expires.
