Do I have any priority to move back in after my landlord renovates or rebuilds the property?

Yes. Under Article 29 of Law No. 26 of 2007, a tenant has the right of first refusal to return to the property after demolition, reconstruction, renovation, or refurbishment. The tenant must exercise this right within 30 days of being notified by the landlord. Rent for the new tenancy is determined at prevailing market rates.
