Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my property is smaller or larger than what was stated in the sale contract?

DLD regulations address this clearly:

  • If the property is larger than agreed: the developer may not charge the buyer for the extra space, unless the sale contract explicitly states otherwise
  • If the property is smaller than agreed: the developer must compensate the buyer for any reduction that exceeds 5% of the net area specified in the sale contract.
