Can foreign nationals register a will in the UAE?

Yes. Both UAE residents and non-residents can register a will in the UAE. If you own assets or property in the UAE — even if you live abroad — you are eligible to register a local will. There is no residency requirement for most registration routes.

Non-residents who own Dubai property may also be eligible for a 2-Year Property Investor Visa or a 10-Year Golden Visa — both of which make having a UAE will even more important for protecting your investment and family.
